A popular, easy hike goes from Andrian/o to the castle of Hocheppan. In the castle there is a private inn and you have a wonderful view over the whole valley. There you can also visit the Chapel of St Catherine with its Romanesque frescoes.

Just 20 minutes from Andrian you arrive to Mölten/ Meltina from where you can make many different hikes. You can walk through larch meadows and enjoy the wonderful views over the Dolomites and many other mountains.

Rosengarten Hike: By car from Andrian to the Paolina Chair Lift. Route: Ride the Paolina Chair Lift to an altitude of 2,239 meters. Continue on the Hirzl Trail (No. 549) until you come to the Rotwand Hütte (2,280 m). Proceed via the Schafsteig (Via delle Feide) until you come to the Campedie Chair Lift. Descend via Trail No. 544 to the valley. 4-5 hours

A cycling path takes you from Andrian first along the river Etsch and then along the river Eisack into the center of Bolzano. The journey lasts 1.5 hours.
